Mr. Stewart is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Navigator and a member of its Board of Managers. He has over 30 years of investing and operating experience. Prior to joining Navigator, he was a Managing Director at Nassau Capital, an alternative asset manager responsible for investing $2.5 billion of Princeton University’s endowment in private equity and real estate. At Nassau, he led growth equity investments as well as buyouts and recapitalizations in the communications, healthcare, and transportation industries. In addition to his investment experience, Mr. Stewart has also served as the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of various infrastructure-related companies including KMC Telecom and KDC Solar. Mr. Stewart is a co-founder and Director of FirstLight HomeCare Franchising, LLC, K9 Holdings, LLC, Nelson Pipeline Constructors, and the Jon M. Hall Company. Bill serves as a Trustee of the Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Bill was also an Adjunct Professor at the Villanova School of Business teaching courses covering the topics of entrepreneurship, private equity transactions and alternative investments. Mr. Stewart has earned M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from New York University and Villanova University, respectively.
