Mr. Markey is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Navigator and a member of its Board of Managers. Mr. Markey’s private equity investment experience including serving as a General Partner of two SBIC Participating Securities funds. He co-founded and is a Director of Cornerstone Franchise Brands, LLC, parent of FirstLight HomeCare Franchising, LLC and majority owner of SURV Franchisor, LLC. My Markey also serves as a Director of franchisor Almera Tech Services, LLC, K9 Resorts Ventures, LLC an owner of several K9 Resorts. He is also a Director of K9 Holdings, LLC, parent of K9 Franchising, LLC the franchisor of K9 Resorts. He previously served Chairman of Project Leadership Associates, Inc. and HTE, Inc., a NASDAQ traded company. He is a board observer at Jon M. Hall Company, LLC. He has served on the board of numerous private companies including CK Franchising, Inc. franchisor of Comfort Keepers, Universal Environmental Services, LLC, Lumeta Corporation, Digney York Associates, LLC, and Coffin Turbo Pump, Inc. Mr. Markey is past Chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group, the predecessor to the MAC Alliance. Mr. Markey is a graduate of Villanova University and received his Masters in Management degree from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
