Prior to founding MSP, Alex Foshager was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Global Industrials Group where he focused on providing a variety of investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and equity and debt financings for both publicly traded and private equity-owned clients. Over his nine-year career at Goldman Sachs, Alex played an integral role working with clients across a broad array of industries spanning the full spectrum of the transaction process, including business and financial due diligence, strategic planning, financial analysis, valuation and transaction negotiation and execution. Alex has developed deep industry and transaction execution knowledge across numerous Industrial verticals, notably diversified industrials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation & logistics, and aerospace & defense, among others. Alex began his career at Goldman Sachs in 2013 in the Global Real Estate Investment Banking Group in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Alex was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. Outside of work, Alex is an aspiring golfer, Milwaukee Bucks fan and avid music listener. Alex was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
