Charly is Managing Partner of Main Capital Partners and founded the company in 2003. Charly has over 30 years of experience in growing successful software companies. Charly founded Main Capital Partners in 2003. Previously, Charly was partner at Alpinvest Partners, where he founded the technology investment practice and supervised the growth of an extensive portfolio of software and ICT companies. Charly has been a board member of over 20 technology companies, and as Managing Partner of Main Capital Partners, Charly currently is Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Sofon, b+m Informatik, OBI4wan, artegic, MUIS Software, JobRouter, SDB Ayton, Enovation and cleversoft. Charly’s specialization lies in bringing small software companies to a higher level in terms of size, profitability, customer base, partners network, and international profile. As Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer Charly is primary responsible for the international expansion of Main Capital Partners. Charly holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen (RUG). Charly is married, lives in Zeist, the Netherlands and has 5 children.
