Metin Negrin is the Founder and President of Lexin Capital and is based in New York City. He is responsible for strategic direction of the firm, selecting and underwriting the investments, asset management oversight as well as investor relationships. His experience includes all types of property types as well as both debt and equity capital structures. Mr. Negrin personally invests his capital into every deal and majority of his net worth is invested into Lexin Capital investments. Prior to founding Lexin Capital, Mr. Negrin was a founding partner and chief operating officer of The Athena Group (from 1993 to 2000) where he solicited, evaluated, structured and managed Athena's domestic and international investments. Prior to joining Athena in 1993, Mr. Negrin worked for three years with LaSalle Partners (New York) in the Corporate Finance and Land groups. In addition, he worked at Citibank as a credit analyst from 1988 to 1990. Mr. Negrin has an MBA in finance and a BS in economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
