Colby Collier Bio

Mr. Collier has more than 30 years of experience investing, operating, and advising small and middle market companies. He founded Laud Collier, and co-founded the private equity and venture capital group at The CIT Group, including its SBIC subsidiary. Mr. Collier started his career at Manufacturers Hanover Commercial Corporation/CIT Business Credit Financing. Mr. Collier was a former director of numerous entities including Rutland Plastics, Inc., Dan-Loc, Tread Corporation, Oneida Molded Plastics, Sentry Alarm Systems of America, Inc., Rex International Inc., and FHP Holdings, Inc. He is a former President of the Northeast Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NERASBIC). Mr. Collier is a graduate of Colgate University, where he received his B.A. in Economics, and completed the Tuck Executive Program of The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
