Robert Castro Bio

Bob has more than 40 years of audit, tax, and business advisory experience. He spent most of his professional career at BDO USA, LLP as an audit partner and Managing Partner of BDO’s Financial Services Group until he retired. Some of the financial service companies that Bob has served include Fir Tree Partners, Fred Alger & Company, Greenlight Capital, Lord Abbett, Nikko Securities, Prospect Capital Corporation, Renaissance Technologies, and York Capital, to name a few. Bob has also served as an expert in a number of high-profile cases in defense of Bear Stearns and several Big 4 Accounting Firms in various actions including Madoff, Manhattan Fund, Refco, and others. Bob has advised many boards as well as served on both public company and not-for-profit boards.
