James Yu Bio

James Yu joined EQT Partners in April 2013 and is responsible for managing the financing activities within the EQT Partners Equity and Mid-Market teams. James holds a BA in Economics from Trinity College in Connecticut and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia Business School. Prior to joining EQT Partners, James was a Managing Director in the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance team at Morgan Stanley in London. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at JP Morgan. He has 20 years of investment banking experience in London and New York and has worked on a variety of financing and advisory transactions.
