Tim Dornan Bio

Tim joined Elysian in 2022 following significant experience leading and advising businesses across a wide range of sectors. Alongside James and Mike, he is part of the Operating team who work with our management teams to maximise value throughout the investment cycle. Before joining Elysian, his roles in industry covered a range of strategy and commercial positions. He was Head of Strategy at Low and Bonar through its turnaround, held a number of roles at ABF plc including Managing Director of the Silver Spoon Company and was part of the turnaround team at Essentra plc. He also ran his own consultancy practice focused on commercial profit improvement. Tim started his career as a project engineer in automotive group T&N before moving into strategy consulting with the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a degree in Engineering from University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
