Steve Martin Bio

Steve joined Elysian in 2008 as Finance Director and Compliance Officer. He started his professional career in 1990 at PKF where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Between 1994 and 1999 Steve worked for Morgan Grenfell, in various financial control roles in the bank’s private equity and investment banking divisions, and then joined WestLB Panmure as the investment bank’s financial controller in London. Between 2003 and 2008 Steve was head of international finance for global securities and investment banking group Jefferies & Co. He oversaw the firm‘s programme of expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has an MA from Cambridge University.
