Richard Ramsey Bio

Richard joined Elysian in 2008. He started in banking with Midland Bank, before working with Ken Terry between 1987 and 1991, at Standard Chartered and then Doughty Hanson. Richard went on to build three market-leading leveraged finance teams at Bank of Scotland, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and arranged and structured finance for more than 150 European buyouts across a wide range of industries. He has had executive management experience with responsibility for large teams across Europe and overseen a number of significant change programmes. Richard has a degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.
