Nico Reimers, born in 1979, is founder and Managing Partner of ELBE PARTNERS. In his professional career he has specialized in succession solutions for SMEs and has been actively involved in more than 20 corporate transactions so far. Nico Reimers started his professional career at Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and Arthur Andersen before he worked several years as investment manager at "BPE Private Equity G.m.b.H", a company specialized on equity-financed management buy-outs. There he gained broad experience in the sector of corporate finance, corporate transactions as well as portfolio management. During and prior to this he has published several scientific papers such as "Private Equity for family businesses – Succession solutions and growth capital in the German Mittelstand" ["Private Equity für Familienunternehmen – Nachfolgelösungen und Wachstumsfinanzierung im deutschen Mittelstand"], which was published at Deutscher Universitätsverlag in 2004. Nico Reimers graduated in Business Administration from the European Business School (ebs) by completing successfully a bilingual program in Germany, USA, and Switzerland with focus on finance & banking as well as international management. In advisory functions he is regularly engaged in family-owned businesses.
