Stefan is Head of Legal, Compliance and Regulation at DTCP. Prior to joining Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Stefan was a senior legal counsel at Commerzbank working on complex finance and M&A topics. He was also responsible for the legal aspects of all blockchain projects. Earlier in his career, Stefan spent five years at the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a member of the finance practice group, working on international highly structured finance and corporate transactions and the whole life cycle of funds / asset management. Stefan holds a Ph.D. from the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) of the University of Virginia (Dean’s scholarship) and further law and business degrees from the University of Münster and University of Bayreuth.
