Mr. Holt co-founded and serves as Managing Partner of Druid Capital Partners, LLC. He brings more than 18 years of experience as an engineer, manager, and investment professional with an independent and major integrated E&P, technology service company and alternative asset manager. Mr. Holt joined Lucas Capital as Managing Director in 2006 during the launch of LEV II. He has co-managed each portfolio alongside Mr. Allen since that time and served on the Investment Committee for all LEV funds. Mr. Holt has served board level functions to a number of private companies, and provided specific leadership in crafting and refining the LEV investment strategy and process. Mr. Holt began his career with River Gas Corporation, an exploration and production company operating over 900 wells in Alabama, Utah and Wyoming. During this period, he worked in technical roles of drilling, completion, and production engineering before moving into supervisory roles in production operations. Upon the sale of River Gas Corporation to Phillips Petroleum Company in 2000, he moved into the role of Development Manager for the Alabama properties formerly held by River Gas Corporation. In 2002, when Phillips Petroleum Company merged with Conoco Inc. to form ConocoPhillips Inc., Mr. Holt moved to Houston to assume a cross-functional assignment focused on merger integration. Mr. Holt also has experience working for Object Reservoir, a venture capital-backed technology company. Mr. Holt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mineral Engineering in 1997 from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Subsequently, he received his Masters of Business Administration in 2002, also from the University of Alabama.
