Mr. Bingham founded Davenport Resources in 1995 after a 30-year career in technology, energy development, and private direct investments. After practicing law in the New York firm of Shearman & Sterling, Mr. Bingham held senior management positions in the fields of international telecommunications, energy and natural resources prior to 1977. He managed the original expansion of the global satellite system throughout Africa for Communications Satellite Corporation. From 1977 to 1995, he was President of Caithness Resources, Inc., a manager of private equity partnerships and developer of over 280 megawatts of renewable independent power, mineral properties and new technology businesses. Hiram is a graduate of Yale University and of Columbia University Law School and is a Trustee of two educational foundations. |
