Jon has spent some 30 years primarily as an investment banker and private equity investor at major firms focused on industrial and business services companies. He has also served on numerous boards of directors and has operating experience. His private equity background includes serving as a Managing Director and member of the Management and Executive Committees at Cypress Group, a $3.5 billion private equity firm, and as Executive Vice President at Revolution Living, part of the investment effort established by Steve Case, the Co-Founder of AOL. Jon spent most of his investment banking career at Lazard, ultimately as a Managing Director, focused on mergers and acquisitions and financial sponsors. He has been on more than 20 boards of directors, ranging from smaller private companies to several Fortune 500 companies. He has also been an expert witness in major corporate litigation. Jon speaks and writes regularly on mergers and acquisitions, finance and governance issues.
