Jeff Carnes is a Founder, Partner and Member of Crest Rock’s Investment Committee, where he is involved in all aspects of firm oversight, strategic direction, deal origination, investment activity and operational execution. Jeff brings tremendous experience to Crest Rock from his significant involvement in over 20 acquisitions and divestitures over the course of his career, 8 Board/Active Board Observer positions including AdvancedMD and Asset Control, and his broad-based experience co-establishing his former firm’s London office. Prior to co-founding Crest Rock, Jeff spent more than eight years at Marlin Equity Partners where he was a Principal and led investments in software, technology and services. Prior thereto, Jeff worked with Deloitte and Touche USA LLP in their audit division, serving the largest global financial services clients in Orange County, CA. Jeff is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Jeff holds a dual B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration, magna cum laude from the University of Southern California.
