Matthew Finnerty Bio

Matthew Finnerty is a Director at CREO Capital Partners, where he is responsible for evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the firm’s middle-market portfolio. He has worked on opportunities spanning food, consumer, and other industries, and currently serves on the board of Insignia International. Prior to joining CREO, Matthew was an Analyst at Proterra Partners, a private equity firm focused on food and agriculture investments, where he supported transactions and portfolio management across the sector. Earlier in his career, he was an Analyst at Grata, a deal sourcing and market intelligence platform, where he specialized in research and analysis of private company markets. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Chapman University’s Argyros College of Business and Economics, where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Golf Team.
