Javier Starkand Bio

Javier Starkand is a Partner and Founding Member of Consonance Capital Partners. Prior to joining CCP, Javier was an investment professional in the healthcare group at Warburg Pincus. Prior to business school, he worked as an Associate at JPMP before co-founding The Spirus Group, a New York-based venture development firm. He also worked in the Technology M&A Group at Morgan Stanley. He has served as a board observer or board member of KEPRO, Orsini, Psychiatric Medical Care, and RegionalCare Hospital Partners (now Lifepoint). Javier holds an MBA from The Stanford Graduate School of Business. Additionally, he holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA in French from the College of Arts & Sciences, both at the University of Pennsylvania.
