Gary Li Bio

Gary oversees all aspects of Cloud Equity Group's day-to-day operations including finance functions, management company and fund tax matters, administration of the firm's compliance program, and service provider relationships. Gary opportunistically assists with due diligence and post-close portfolio company integration and management. Prior to joining Cloud Equity Group, Gary was the controller at Sio Capital Management, a hedge fund with over $500 million in assets under management. Before joining Sio Capital Management, Gary worked as an Associate at US Bancorp Fund Services doing financial reporting and fund accounting. Prior to joining USBFS, Gary was an equity analyst for the University of Maryland’s Endowment Fund. Gary is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Gary also holds a B.S. in Marketing from Nankai University.
