Stuart McAlpine Bio

Stuart joined Cinven in 1996, became a Partner in 2005 and became Managing Partner in 2015. He is responsible for the execution of the firm's strategy and the day-to-day management of the firm. Previously, Stuart led the Healthcare Sector team and the UK and Ireland Regional team. He has been involved in numerous transactions, including Amadeus, CPA Global, Fitness First, Foseco, Medpace, Phadia, Sebia and Synlab. Prior to joining Cinven, Stuart was with the Royal Bank of Scotland in its Leveraged Finance Group and before that at Ernst & Young in Boston and London. Stuart has a BAcc in Accountancy from University of Glasgow.
