Pontus Pettersson Bio

Pontus leads the Industrial Sector team and the Nordic Regional team. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Arxada (formerly Lonza Specialty Ingredients), CeramTec, Envirotainer, Envu (previously Bayer Environmental Science Professional), Master Builders Solutions, Prezioso, TK Elevator and Tractel. Previously, Pontus was a Principal at KKR & Co in London, Tokyo and Menlo Park, where he worked on a number of investments. Prior to this, he worked at Altor Equity Partners in Stockholm. Pontus started his career at Goldman Sachs. Pontus has an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He joined Cinven in 2011.
