John L. Ward is the founder of Cincinnatus Partners, a private family office that invests in startup and established businesses. He has over 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur, private equity investor and senior partner with a major international management consulting firm. He previously served as senior partner and head of the U.S. Financial Services Industry Consulting practice at Deloitte & Touche. In this capacity, he served as lead consulting partner to several prominent buy-out firms and advised them in their efforts to make large private equity investments in the financial services industry. John L. Ward also has a demonstrated track record as a successful entrepreneur. In the early 1990s, he launched a start up data analytics and benchmarking business that developed into a successful brand and ultimately exited in a highly successful sale of the business to a strategic buyer. John L. Ward has extensive business experience and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Insurance, Fortune Magazine and other sources as an authoritative source. He has also presented at numerous industry conferences, trade association meetings and CEO roundtables. Since 2005, John L. Ward has been involved in the private equity business as both an operating partner and general partner. In these capacities, he has been actively involved in the evaluation of over 200 potential private equity investments which resulted in the acquisition of 15 companies with an aggregate enterprise value of approximately $250 million. John L. Ward currently is an angel investor, oversees a private family office and serves on several corporate and advisory boards.
