Mr. Iversen is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cimbria. He is based in Houston, Texas. In addition to his role as a Founder and Managing Partner of Cimbria’s investment entities, Brian V. Iversen is also a co-founder, Senior Advisor, and owner of Cimbria Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm offering pragmatic tools to capture economic value for small-to-medium enterprises in agriculture, renew- able energy, and water. Prior to co-founding the Cimbria Companies, Mr. Iversen became an acknowledged specialist in private equity and portfolio company management at Riverstone Holdings (Carlyle/Riverstone Funds). Mr. Iversen held a position as a Vice President at Riverstone where he was an investment professional focused on the renewable energy and the sustainable agriculture industries as well as certain oil and natural gas services sectors. During his eight-year tenure at Riverstone, Mr. Iversen participated on and co-led specialized invest- ment teams that invested and managed equity capital of approximately $2 billion into companies located in the Americas and Europe. While at Riverstone, Mr. Iversen was a member on the team that launched and managed one of the world’s largest independent private equity funds dedicated exclusively to renewable energy investments. As part of this work, he worked closely with several senior global business and thought leaders in the finance and renewable energy industries. More recently, Mr. Iversen was the President and CEO at AG Global where he led an experienced production and sales team in the organic and natural agriculture industry. Mr. Iversen was appointed as the turn-around CEO of AG Global to re-shape the company’s overall structure, business plan, and team. Mr. Iversen currently serves as Chairman of the Board of AMI Global, LLC (water tech) and APX10 A/S (wastewater tech). He serves as a Board Member of Florida Design Drilling, LLC (water industry) and is a Board Advisor at Slater Infrastructure Group, LLC (water/wastewater). He also volunteers on the Board of Directors of the Danish American Chamber of Commerce Southwest, a 501c3 organization. Mr. Iversen previously served as a Venture Partner at Blue Bear Capital. He also previously served on the Board of Directors of VRC Technologies, Inc, AG Global Canada, L.P., Amaizeingly Green Value Products ULC, Amaizeingly Green Products L.P, Green Earth Fuels LLC, Patagonia Bioenergia SA, Ensus Ltd., ReEnergy Holdings LLC, Sustainable Oils LLC, Frontier Drilling Holdings, and Seajacks International. Mr. Iversen received his B.S.B.A., magna cum laude, in finance from University of Central Florida. He received a Notable Knight Award from his alma mater in 2015. He also served as a First Lieutenant in the Royal Danish Army for three years prior to coming to the United States in 2000. Mr. Iversen is a former soccer player who participated on University of Central Florida’s NCAA Division I soccer team and represented Denmark in 25 youth national team soccer games.
