Prior to founding Champlain Capital, Dennis was a co-founding partner of Green Mountain Partners which consisted of two funds with $430 million of capital. Earlier, Dennis was part of a three-person team at CIGNA that invested CIGNA Mezzanine Partners III, a $450 million fund, and managed and exited the portfolios of two previous CIGNA funds with $500 million of combined capital. He also worked for Marine Midland Bank in the Corporate Lending Group. Dennis received a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is also a co-founder of Proof School, a secondary school in San Francisco for students who are exceptionally gifted in mathematics. |
