Ian founded Center Rock Capital Partners in 2017 and has over 25 years of private equity and transactional experience with a focus on executing complicated mergers and acquisitions, and restructurings of industrial manufacturing companies. Ian, along with the other Partners, is responsible for all major aspects of the firm’s management and investment process. Prior to forming Center Rock, Ian was a senior investment professional at Wynnchurch Capital from 2004 to 2017, most recently as a Partner and a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to Wynnchurch, Ian held positions with Kirkland & Ellis, Goldman Sachs, Willis Stein & Partners, and Crossroads Capital Partners. Ian also served in the Israeli Defense Forces. Ian has a J.D. from Harvard Law School (Cum Laude) and an A.B. in Philosophy from the University of Illinois (Summa Cum Laude). Ian currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Piping Products, LINC Systems, The Merit Distribution Group, Signature Systems Group, TAG Manufacturing, Eastern Wholesale Fence, FLANDERS, and Mark Andy, Inc., and has historically served on the Boards of Directors of Henniges Automotive, Highway Technologies, IronForm, JAC Products, Northstar Aerospace, Roseboro, SafeWorks, Senco Corporation, US Manufacturing.
