Taylor Moore Bio

As a Partner at Carlson Private Capital, Taylor Moore is responsible for the firm’s investment portfolio, new investment selection and execution of the firm’s strategy. Taylor and Andy Cantwell established the Carlson Private Capital platform for the Carlson family in late 2018. With over two decades of experience as an investor and advisor in the private markets, Taylor has primarily focused on private equity and family capital investing. Before founding Carlson Private Capital, Taylor served as a Principal at Norwest Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm based in Minneapolis that has raised over $7.0 billion in capital. Taylor’s prior experience also includes investment banking positions at Piper Jaffray & Co. and Morgan Keegan. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and earned his M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management as an F.C. Austin Scholar at Northwestern University.
