David Buttolph Bio

David co-founded Brookside Capital Partners in 2001 and is responsible for maintaining and developing new limited partner relationships, sourcing new investment opportunities and serves as a board member or board observer for numerous portfolio companies. He was past President, Northeast Region, Small Business Investors Alliance (“SBIA”) and past member, SBIA Board of Governors. Prior to co-founding Brookside, he was a Partner at Canterbury Capital Partners. David also served as a Senior Vice President at LaSalle Business Credit, Inc, a District Manager/Vice President of Barclays Business Credit, Inc., and began his banking career at BankBoston. David is a graduate of Boston University and received his Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University. He has served as an Adjunct Lecturer on Mergers, Acquisitions and Buyouts at the Fordham University Graduate School of Business. David is an Eagle Scout.
