Adam Sauerteig Bio

Adam Sauerteig serves as a Partner and Investment Committee member of Balance Point Capital. Together with the other Partners, Adam is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the firm. His responsibilities include firm management, investment origination and execution, and portfolio management. Adam joined Balance Point in 2010 and has significant experience investing across the capital structure in lower middle market companies. During his tenure at Balance Point, Adam has underwritten, structured, and executed debt and equity investments across a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, consumer, tech-enabled services, health and wellness, and business services. Adam began his career in the investment division of David Adam Realty, a full-service real estate firm specializing in investment, development, leasing, and management of commercial assets. A native of Connecticut, Adam currently lives with his family in New Canaan. He enjoys staying active by playing golf, skiing, and trying to keep up with his wife on the tennis court.
