Mr. Galvez has over 22 years of operating and investing experience with lower middle-market businesses and in particular assisting financial buyers in re-positioning, operating and growing corporate divestitures. He has also been the CEO, among other roles, of many businesses over his career and brings a unique combination of investment and operating experience. Before founding AuSable Capital Partners, Mr. Galvez was a Managing Director at Platinum Equity and was the co-head of PLMM, Platinum’s lower middle market investment group. Prior to this, Mr. Galvez was a founding member of New Stream Capital’s private equity group and was a Managing Director of MMP Capital Partners. He has served on the board of directors of Florida Tile Industries, Nematron Corporation, Rauch Industries, Siemens Laserworks, Arborcraft, H.L. Lyons Companies, Elgin Butler Company and International Wholesale Tile. Mr. Galvez also founded and is currently a board member of the Washington DC Coalition for the Homeless. Mr. Galvez received his BS from McGill University, MBA from Union College, and Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University.
