Ms. Ermel is Director of Finance at Aterian Investment Partners and assists with fund accounting, audit, tax and all other aspects of the firm’s financial reporting. Kristel joined Aterian with close to twenty years of experience working for various private equity firms in NYC. Most recently, Kristel was at a private equity start up Ember Infrastructure where she created and oversaw the firm’s finance function. Prior to Ember, Kristel spent over five years as VP of Finance at The Beekman Group where she was responsible for all aspects of fund and management company financial reporting along with SEC compliance. She began her career at Ernst & Young providing audit services to clients in the financial services sector. Ms. Ermel holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting from Mercy University. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, live concerts, trips to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
