Richard has worked in the private equity/venture capital space since 1999 in a variety of wide-ranging CFO/COO type roles. During this time, he has amassed a wealth of financial and operational experience encompassing a range of asset classes, funds and geographical jurisdictions. Classes covered comprise Private Equity, Venture Capital, African Agriculture and renewables. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG before subsequently working in finance roles for City based financial institutions – the Carnegie Group, UBS and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.
