Founder and director of Antea. In 1992, he developed the unique formula of a private equity firm for SMEs within Staal Bankiers, where capital is raised by Informal Investors, and from that point on, he managed Staal Participaties. He completed his Economics degree with honors at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1986. He then worked as an investment analyst at Nationale-Nederlanden and moved to Staal Bankiers in 1987, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments until March 1999. In March 1999, he executed a management buyout, spun off the private equity funds, which led to the establishment of Antea. He has been a regular columnist for Quote since 2014 and for BNR Radio since 2022. |
