Ralph Pöttinger studied economics and law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, University of Vienna, both Austria, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, National University of Singapore and East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai, China. Through his work as a ski, snowboard and cross-country skiing instructor for the Lech am Arlberg ski school, Austria, and as a trained, certified and licensed communication and rhetoric trainer as well as trainer and coach of NLP™, he has gained many years of experience in providing his customers with advice and to stand by the side. As a result, his career was shaped by the investment bank William Blair & Company in London, UK, where he was a mid-market M&A analyst. He then acquired sound knowledge of client-oriented legal structuring at Barnert Egermann Illigasch Rechtsanwälte in Vienna, Austria. Since 2014, Ralph Pöttinger has been developing various models for increasing corporate value, which he has subsequently also implemented at Alpine Value Management® with a focus on strategic corporate management aimed at increasing value, digitization and new business models as well as expansion and internationalization. His passion for the business world and its complex problems inspired him in 2016 to join the Alpine Equity® team as an analyst for investment and portfolio management. In his spare time, Ralph Pöttinger is interested in mountaineering, Enlightenment philosophy and Stanley Kubrick films.
