Barbie Spear serves as Managing Director at Alliance Holdings, where she oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations, including investment sourcing, evaluation, portfolio management, and divestitures. She has led multiple successful portfolio company exits and collaborates closely with management teams on key strategic and operational decisions to drive growth and value creation. Barbie began her tenure with Alliance as the Vice President of Human Resources, where she was responsible for developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of ESOP administration, overall office administration, talent management, change management, training and development, compensation and organization wide benefit programs. Prior to joining Alliance Holdings, Barbie was Benefits Manager at Alliance Consulting Group, an information technology consulting firm servicing Fortune 1000 companies, where she was responsible for the management and administration of all employee benefit programs for over 1,800 employees in 10 states. Prior to focusing on benefits management, Barbie was a Human Resource Generalist with Alliance Consulting Group, focusing on employee communications, stock option administration and human capital evaluation.
