Fernando Amaro brings over 30 years of operational experience in leading businesses to exponential growth by focusing on improving, sales, marketing, and operations. Fernando enjoys working with the leadership team in our investments through a collaborative process. He is a learner and an enabler, focused on understanding what is required to attain business success and enabling its execution. Prior to joining AIM Capital, Fernando started Celestica’s Utilities and Industrial Connectivity group. Celestica’s UIC market segment focused on manufacturing products for Smart Cities and Smart Grids. Fernando grew the market segment to over $200M in revenue within five years through the acquisition of customer operations and the growth of existing operations. Prior to Celestica, Fernando led the Sales, Marketing, Program Management and Applications Engineering team at Falco Electronics. Falco is an electronics manufacturer which Fernando led from a few million to over $120M in revenue and expanded from a regional to a global company. Mr. Amaro has served on private company boards, including Grupo Pit, a multi-line family-owned business with businesses in restaurants, food distribution, real estate development, and transportation.
