Chris is the Chief Executive Officer of Aetos Capital, LP. Prior to this role, Chris was a co-founder of Aetos Capital Partners. Prior to working at Aetos Capital, Chris worked as a Vice President at Gener8 Maritime (the successor company to General Maritime). At Gener8, he executed over $3 billion in mergers and acquisitions, and managed Gener8’s out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding. Chris helped privatize Gener8 as part of its emergence from bankruptcy. Later, he executed a merger and $210 million IPO of the new company. Prior to joining Gener8, Chris worked as an Investment Banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear Stearns. Chris earned his BA from Yale, and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a proud member of the National Board of Directors of Communities in Schools. |
