Solar*Tec is one of the few PV companies active in all three generations of PV technologies: crystalline silicon, thin film and concentrator PV. It is building the world's first dedicated ultra-white solar glass float glass plant with TCO coating in Germany and has obtained government approval for another one in Malaysia. Its emerging dominance in the solar glass supply chain has the capacity to generate a virtuous cycle to feed high quality lower cost PV modules to its division that is building large PV power plants.
