Stephen Brissette Bio

Steve focuses on representing middle-market and lower middle-market equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, financial institutions, and strategic companies in connection with leveraged acquisitions, control and non-control investments, debt financings, restructurings, and compensation and employment arrangements for key management and employees. He is the leader of the firm’s Communications, Information and Media industry team. Steve has closed several billion dollars’ worth of acquisitions, investments, financings, and sales for middle-market and lower middle-market equity sponsors, financial institutions, and strategic companies. Steve received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University.
