Matt Higgins is a member of the firm’s M&A practice group. He has experience representing corporate and private equity clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financing transactions in a wide range of industries, including transportation and logistics, manufacturing, technology, professional services, government contracting, and waste management. Matt received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law and is a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Matt served as a staff member and articles editor of the North Carolina Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Economics with a second major in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
