Recognized by World Trademark Review in its survey of the world’s leading trademark professionals, WTR 1000, Becky has over 20 years of experience advising clients on intellectual property and technology transactions. Becky’s strong background in technology includes a technical degree in biology. A co-chair of the firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Industry Group, Becky represents emerging and established companies in protecting and commercializing intellectual property assets and advising on the technology and intellectual property aspects of licensing, merger and acquisition, joint venture, financing, and other strategic transactions. She manages all intellectual property and IT-related aspects of corporate, private equity, and financing transactions. Becky also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial contracts, including complex software; software-as-a-service; cloud; data; and other license and service agreements as well as research and development; consulting; supply; and distribution agreements. She also practices in open source software risk management counseling. Becky’s representations include domestic and international clients in many industries, including computer hardware and software; digital assets and blockchain technology; e-commerce; consumer products; entertainment; financial services; semiconductors; health care; biotechnology; pharmaceuticals; and medical devices.
