Alan Burke Bio

Alan is Co-Head of the Firm's EMEA Corporate M&A Practice and a partner in our Global M&A and Corporate Practice, based in London. An experienced corporate, and mergers and acquisitions lawyer, Alan leads teams from multiple practices in complex international deals. Clients benefit from his extensive track record in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, reorganisations and restructurings. His knowledge and experience span a broad range of business sectors, including energy, energy transition, infrastructure, healthcare, technology and financial institutions. Alan's client list is varied and includes public and private corporations, governments, family offices and banks, such as Aramco, Goldman Sachs, International Finance Corporation, Global Payments, Metso, Meridian Capital, MOL, Nordea, Queiroz Galvão, Sophos, and Ziff Davis. Notable matters include Alan's team-leading role in Aramco's US$1.3 billion Vela-Bahri merger, which created one of the world's largest shipping companies.
