Stephen Fox Bio

Stephen Fox is a partner in the Private Funds Group in Weil’s London office. Stephen specializes in the establishment and operation of private investment funds for a range of independent and institutional fund managers across a range of asset classes, including advising on the structuring, marketing and negotiation of such funds as well as the commercial issues arising from the ongoing day to day operation of such funds. Stephen also advises a number of institutional investors on their participation in private investment funds. He completed secondments to China Investment Corporation in Beijing and to Apax Partners for 12 months as its interim general counsel and in-house funds counsel. Stephen is recognised in Chambers UK 2015 with clients describing him as “technically very able in a complicated process with lots of moving parts.”
