Mark Wassink Bio

Mark Wassink is managing partner of Warner and has dedicated his life’s work to leading the firm while holding various positions throughout his legal career – including chair of the firm’s Professional Staff Committee, chair of the Recruiting Committee, leadership team member of the DEI Action Committee – all while maintaining a successful corporate law career. His focus is and has always been to support Warner in being an inclusive and welcoming place for all. Elected as managing partner in January 2022, Mark’s responsibilities encompass chairing the firm’s Management Committee and guiding Warner’s strategic direction and continued growth. Working closely with all nine of the firm’s offices, Mark supports business development efforts with a particular focus on providing exceptional client service for both existing and new clients. Mark’s unique experience working at many levels of the firm has made him a true believer in Warner’s culture, which is based on a unique “lock step” compensation structure that is specifically designed to foster collegiality, teamwork and the very best in client service. This unique culture permeates all levels of the firm. As a practicing attorney, Mark specializes in complex finance transactions, representing both borrowers and lenders. In addition to his finance work, Mark represents clients in many types of general corporate issues, including mergers and acquisitions.
