John Muhs focuses on corporate transactional and securities matters. He advises organizations of all sizes – from startup founders, family-owned businesses and community nonprofits, to Fortune 500 companies and the North American offices of enterprises with billions of dollars in global sales – on business formation, corporate governance, capital raising, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracting. In his securities, funds and investment services work, John counsels emerging growth companies and investors alike in early-stage financing, angel and venture capital financing, and other private placements. John is a key member of Warner’s industry-leading impact investing group, working with community development financial institutions and other nonprofit and impact-focused organizations to finance affordable housing, sustainable agriculture, educational initiatives and other critical community development activities. John also serves as outside general counsel and supply-chain contracting expert to high-tech manufacturing automotive suppliers and mobility companies. He has cultivated an expertise in the rapidly changing field of connected and automated vehicles.
