With a practice centered on commercial real estate, David Eberhard provides counsel on construction, corporate, business and commercial finance law issues. He regularly assists clients with the purchase, sale, development, leasing and financing of their commercial, manufacturing, industrial and office real estate projects, which includes handling construction contracts, bonding, zoning matters, real estate transfer issues, equipment financing and 1031 like-kind exchanges. In addition, Dave advises clients on forming, organizing and structuring their business entities and on the sale and acquisition of companies. As part of his business practice, David specializes in the organization, sale and purchase of franchises, the transfer of liquor licenses and the formation of minority and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. Many of Dave’s clients are Midwest-based but have an international business scope. He also represents several auto supply clients who are based overseas but do business in the United States. Dave’s knowledge of market industry standards, excellent contract drafting skills and ability to quickly determine whether a client is asking too much or too little are significant value-adds for those he represents.
