Christina Ma is a Partner in the Antitrust Department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Her practice focuses on analyzing competition issues arising out of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures and advising and representing clients before the U.S. and international antitrust authorities. Christina has guided clients through extensive agency merger investigations, trials, and antitrust compliance matters in varied industries, including banking and financial services, consumer products, energy, pharmaceuticals, technology, and retail and wholesale operations. Christina graduated from Brown University and received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar, Essay & Review Editor for the Columbia Law Review, and the recipient of the Young B. Smith and the Valentin J.T. Wertheimer prizes. Prior to joining the firm, Christina served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amalya L. Kearse of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Christina is the ABA Antitrust Law Section’s liaison to the International Bar Association and podcast host on the ABA Antitrust Law Section’s podcast, Our Curious Amalgam. She also previously served as a Lecturer of Law at Columbia Law School. Christina has been recognized in Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next: Antitrust” and in the Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch.” Christina was also named one of the next generation of legal leaders in America by Lawdragon.
