K. Stancell Haigwood focuses her practice on advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their business and investments, with a particular focus on large and complex corporate transactions (including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, strategic investments, SPACs and initial public offerings) and general corporate needs (including advising on securities law, corporate governance and other general corporate matters). In addition, Stancell represents both buyers and sellers on public and private acquisitions, unsolicited bids, joint ventures and other transactions spanning a variety of industry sectors. Stancell also has extensive experience advising issuers and underwriters on securities offerings (including IPOs and debt and equity financings), ’34 Act filings and related matters, listing exchange requirements and corporate governance and board of directors matters.
