Andrew MacArthur applies his unique technical background, which includes prior experience in developing source code and studies in engineering, to identify and resolve core aspects early in intellectual property (IP) litigation. Andrew has enforced IP rights and defended accused infringers in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), from inception through trial and appeal, and in litigation in the UK, Germany, and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). This includes conducting direct and cross-examination of fact and expert witnesses at multiple trials, analyzing complex C++ and Java source code, and drafting post-trial and appeal briefs. Andrew has litigated technologies involving control systems for liquid crystal displays, streaming media, telecommunications, databases, and others. He has also advised companies on transactions involving artificial intelligence, adtech, telecommunications, and medical devices, among others.
