Bio

William Clydesdale is a partner in the Corporate group and co-chairs the Mergers and Acquisitions practice. Bill focuses on renewable energy and technology and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and other corporate transactions. He regularly represents developers, sponsors, and investors in the acquisition, financing, and sale of operating and development-stage renewable energy projects. He also counsels growth and middle market companies in technology, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, services, and other non-energy sectors. In addition to his work in the United States, Bill has structured and negotiated numerous cross-border transactions in Asia, Europe, and Canada. Before joining Stoel Rives, Bill practiced at Baker & McKenzie in New York. He was born and raised in Hong Kong and speaks and reads Chinese.
